Our Mission
The mission of UCAN is to use political, economic and
social resources to promote true equality of
opportunity to all.
UCAN Profile
The United Citizens Action Network is an organization of
citizens who are willing to take action to promote true equality of opportunity
to all individuals. UCAN is an anti-racism organization. While some may say we
have more than enough organizations and groups who claim their goal is to rid
the world of racism, virtually all those groups actually promote racism. Martin
Luther King Jr. gave a very famous speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial
in which he said he had a dream that one day his little children would live in a
world where they would be judged by the content of the character and not the
color of their skin. While all most all if not all of the aforementioned groups
hold Dr. King to be their icon, they all have strayed far afield of the concept
of judging one by the content of their character and not the color of their
skin. Indeed the color of ones skin is all that matters in most cases.
